A mass of warm and humid air pushing in from the southern reaches of the Atlantic Ocean will give rise to a more summer-like weather pattern this weekend. However, there may be some sporadic showers at times too, so make sure you bring an umbrella if you’re out and about.

Temperatures on Saturday are expected to range between 19C and 24C. It will be largely day most of the day, but rain may come in from the west during the night. Sunday will be slightly cooler, with bright and fresh conditions predominant, and thermometers barely reaching 20C.

Early forecasts for the following week indicate the usual mix of sun and showers, though the meteorological service says that conditions may substantially improve towards the end of the week.
