
There were more medal winners today for team Ireland at the Paralympics as Eoghan Clifford and the tandem pairing of Katie-George Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal have each won gold medals in both C3 and Women’s B road cycling Time Trials respectively.
In a fantastic achievement Clifford secured his second medal of the Games in crossing the line in a time of 38.21.79, a staggering full one minute and eight seconds ahead of second placed Masaki Fujita of Japan.
Meanwhile, tandem duo Katie-George Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal took the spoils in the Women’s B tandem competition to finish in 38.59.22, 33 seconds ahead of Japan in second.
