A man in his 80s and a woman in her 40s died this morning just outside the entrance to Ballykisteen Hotel, near Limerick Junction.
There were no passengers in either vehicle. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, and the bodies were removed to South Tipperary Hospital in Clonmel.
