Two men have been arrested after hijacking a Dublin Airport bus with three passengers on board earlier today.
The incident began at Dublin Airport in the early hours of this morning. The raiders commandeered a mini bus with three people on board and set off along the M1. The passengers managed to flee the vehicle shortly afterwards.
The mini bus was spotted in Drogheda shortly before it crossed the border into Northern Ireland.
The raiders crashed the bus and continued their escape on a stolen car, which was eventually stopped near Castleblayney.
Gardai and PSNI officers arrested two men at the scene.
