Two men have been arrested in Carlow as part of the Garda investigation into the incident where a dead man was discovered in a post office.
According to RTE, the men were arrested after 66-year-old Peadar Doyle was found to have died on the morning of the day his body was found. Staff had become concerned when they saw that the man had collapsed and his body was removed from the scene
The men are being held for questioning and a post mortem is due to be carried out by the Office of the State Pathologist.
