Two migrants in Ireland have tested positive for coronavirus in migrant centres

More than 7,000 people are living in 72 migrant centres across the country. It’s understood that the Irish Refugee council confirmed that there were two migrants living in Ireland who have been confirmed to have covid-19.

Some residents in migrants centres have been offered takeaway food in an effort to stop spread and to allow for social distancing.

There’s now a total of 1,329 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland with the HSE to give today’s figures later this evening.
