Two people have been injured after a light aircraft came down in Galway earlier today.
The aircraft involved, a Cessna 172, came down near the village of Kiltullagh, near Killimordaly, around 1.30pm.
One of the injured parties was airlifted to hospital, while the second was taken by ambulance.
