A 76-yr-old man and woman in her 60’s managed to swim over 100m to shore after their 20ft yacht capsized in choppy waters late yesterday evening in Schull, West Cork.
After the yacht failed to return to land at 7pm yesterday, a friend alerted the emergency services. A third male passenger failed to make the arduous journey and unfortunately his body has been discovered by the Cork coast guard.
