This Bank Holiday Monday is set to be a washout, as heavy rains and strong winds will blight the country today.
Two weather warnings remain in place, as up to 40mm of rain may fall in some places.
There is a chance of sleet and snow on high ground also, particularly across the north.
The rain will ease as the day progresses, giving way to a drier and brighter day tomorrow, with temperatures reaching 12C in places.
