Two weather warnings are currently in place as miserable conditions spread nationwide.
A Status Orange warning is in effect for counties Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Wexford, and Wicklow. Counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Tipperary, Cavan, Monaghan, Dublin, Kildare, Louth, and Meath are all under Status Yellow warning.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience heavy rain, which might lead to localized flooding.
