Two weather warnings are in place today, as heavy rain and strong winds batter the country.
A Status Yellow warning for heavy rain is in place for counties Cork, Kerry, Waterford until 4pm today. Met Eireann says that up to 40mm of rain might fall across some areas in these counties.
Separately, a Status Yellow warning for strong winds is in effect for counties Cork, Kerry, Waterford, and Wexford. This warning will also expire at 4pm.
