Two young children have been hospitalised after the buggy they were sitting in was struck by a car in Co Limerick this morning.
It is understood the two children were injured when one of the cars involved in a four vehicle collision, struck the double buggy on the Killarney Road, in Abbeyfeale, shortly after 7am this morning.
Although both children were taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment, it is believed that their injuries are not life-threatening.
However Gardaí say a woman who was in one of the cars has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
They added that an investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
