This morning, tickets for U2’s concert in Dublin sold out in approximately 35 minutes after becoming available. Approximately 60,000 tickets for the 4 dates (November 23, 24, 27 and 28) were available only throught Ticketmaster and directly in Dublin’s 3Arena’s box office, with prices ranging from 30 to 185 euros.

Hundreds of fans queued at the 3Arena since Sunday afternoon. Online, there was also a long waiting time, as Ticketmaster’s website had to be queued to avoid collapsing. Some people waited for so long that it was too late by the time their turn had a rrived and the tickets were sold out.

However, not everyone who got their hands on the tickets is planning to actually see U2, and those who are reselling them, have been called out for overpricing. One reselling website had tickets listed in €3,697.33 (Tuesday show, 3Arena, directly in front of the stage).
