It has been confirmed this morning that U2 will play three shows in the capital’s 3 Arena as part of the band’s Innocence and Experience Tour 2015.
The gigs’ details were confirmed by Bono in an exclusive interview with Tony Fenton, recorded last January. The interview will be broadcast in its entirety this Bank Holiday Monday at 3pm on Today FM. The specific dates for the gigs will be revealed at that point.
Revenues from two of the gigs will go to the Music Generation project, which provides children with musical instruments. Twenty thousand children have benefitted from this project so far.
