UK police confirm that Jihadi family of 12 who joined ISIS in Syria are all dead

It has been revealed that 12 members of the same family who travelled from the UK to Syria to join the Islamic State have all been killed.

The Mannan family, from Luton, Bedfordshire travelled to Syria via Turkey and the father of the family Muhammed (75) and his wife Minera died from health complications in the former I.S capital of Raqqa.

Mannan’s three older sons were killed fighting for I.S while his daughters, daughter in law and younger children who were aged between one and 11 were killed in the battle of Bagouz, the final I.S stronghold, and in airstrikes as they tried to flee.

After Mr Mannan’s son from a former marriage sought to investigate the fate of the jihadi family he discovered that all 12 were now confirmed to be dead.

Speaking to the UK Mail Online Mr Mannan’s surviving son said

“It’s a tragic end and we have to draw a line under it and our now trying to get on with our lives.”
