British Parliament authorities are calling the police after a newspaper reported that traces of cocaine had been found in numerous places in Parliament.
House of Commons spokeswoman Lindsay Hoyle said she communicated with police after the Sunday Times reported that illicit drugs were used in parliament buildings.
The newspaper said traces of cocaine were found in drug test wipe tests in 11 locations only accessible to lawmakers, staff and accredited parliamentary journalists, including toilets near Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s parliamentary office. The investigation is ongoing.
