Ukraine is today celebrating Kyiv Day, and most of the civilized world is joining in the celebration of this historic day.
Kyiv Day was established way back in 1982, the year when the city celebrated the 1,500th anniversary of its foundation.
This year’s celebrations are particularly poignant, as Kyiv has courageously stood up to a poisonous and destructive force in the form of Russian troops, and worked diligently and quite efficiently to send the pieces of hundreds of thousands of them to shallow blast craters all over Ukraine’s sovereign soil.
