Germany and the United States have promised to send more armor to Ukraine to replace the relatively few losses incurred during the opening moves of the decisive counter-offensive.
Meanwhile, Russia cannot repair its own damaged armor following the recent destruction of a key facility with UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles.
The facility, located in the Luhanskteplovoz area, was completely obliterated. The destruction of that site means that Russia is no longer able to repair or refit any damaged vehicles in a timely fashion. This grants Ukraine a huge strategic advantage.
