Met Eireann is today warning of the possibility of further heatwaves during July and August, with temperatures ‘above normal’.
According to the national forecaster, average temperatures will be about 0.5-1C above the typical median for those two months in Ireland.
The trend is for dry, hot weather to continue, with little to no rain on the horizon.
