Germany is to provide Ukraine with 40 additional Marder Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs), it has been confirmed today.
This latest batch makes the total number of Marder vehicles delivered to Ukraine to 80.
Ukraine’s counter-offensive continues apace, with more ground being clawed back from the invader with every passing day.
Latest battlefield reports suggest that Ukraine may soon be able to reach the Sea of Azov coast in the south, or at least take coastal areas under fire control, effectively denying Russia the territory and splitting the already fractured Russian army in half. Were this to occur, it is conceivable that the remnants of the Russian army would collapse in very short order indeed.
