Heavy fighting continues around a key supply route in the Donbas area, with Russia making desperate attempts to maintain the route open. Intense and precise Ukrainian artillery fire keeps disrupting those plans, however.
Highway P66 is a vital supply route for northern sectors of the Donbas front. Russian troops stationed fighting there depend on supplies ferried down this road. Problem for them is, the entire highway is zeroed in by Ukraine’s gunners, which means anything that moves is immediately obliterated.
If Russian supply trucks cannot use this road, the entire northern sector becomes compromised.
