There are reports this evening that Russian troops trapped in the city of Kherson are beginning to run out of ammunition and other supplies.
These troops have nowhere to retreat as they’re right against the Dnipro River.
Kherson is the only major city that the Russian army managed to occupy, at a tremendous cost of men and material. A pyrrhic victory, in other words.
If Ukraine retakes Kherson, it would signify a terminal blow to the already under pressure Russian army.
