Russian troops have been seen desperately digging trenches across southern sectors as Ukrainian units approach.
Ukrainian operators have achieved major gains across the southern front, most notably the liberation of Robotyne in recent weeks. The overarching strategy is to push through in a southern direction towards the Sea of Azov. Once this is achieved, the remnants of the Russian army would be split in two.
Western analysts have ascertained that Russian commanders are increasingly unnerved about the relentless southwards progress of Ukrainian troops. This has led to a last-ditch attempt to dig more holes in the ground in the hopes of mounting a final stand against the approaching warriors.
