Ukrainian operators have permanently removed almost 50 ‘elite’ Russian soldiers from the battlefield in a single day.
The ‘elite’ troops were attached to the 7th VDV Division. 49 troops were eliminated around the village of Staromayorske, while the rest simply ran away.
The unit had only recently been sent to that sector in a last-ditch attempt to stop the advance of the Ukrainian warriors that had just pierced through all existing Russian defence lines. Ukrainian troops are now consolidating and widening their positions around Robotyne to anchor a renewed push southwards.
