Long-range Ukrainian artillery is now within range of Russian positions in the eastern town of Vovchansk, a key transportation hub.
Vovchansk is strategically important for the Russian army, as the town has a highway and a rail line that are being used to route supplies towards the Donbas region.
Cutting off these supplies will disrupt, or hopefully stop altogether, the Russian push there.
