Russian President Vladimir Putin has suffered yet another humiliation of biblical proportions as Ukraine has put on display the wrecks of hundreds of Russian tanks around Kyiv as part of Ukraine’s Independence Day celebrations.
Families and people from all walks of life were seen walking by the burnt-out metal husks and cheering at the sights, amidst a carnival-like atmosphere. The scale of the humiliation for Russia is unfathomable.
Mr. Putin is reportedly completely demoralized by Ukraine’s resolution to fight. The latest strikes, deep in the occupied Crimean Peninsula, have only served to sink Mr. Putin’s mood even lower.
