Many have renewed concerns in Ireland following the closure of the infamous the infamous Tavistock clinic in UK which specialized in facilitating “gender transitions”.

A shocking study publicized by the BBC in 2020 revealed that all but one of the children treated for gender dysphoria were given puberty-blocking drugs.

The sickening treatment of vulnerable children by the Tavistock clinic has caused controversy for years but people’s concerns were dismissed as “transphobic”.

After an investigation commissioned by the National Health Service (NHS) and carried about by retired paediatrician Dr. Hilary Cass found that the gender clinic was “not a safe or viable long-term” option for young people and children, concluding that clinic staff frequently just rushed children into transition, especially as the number of children identifying as transgender grows the Bridgehead reported.

There has been a dramatic increase in the number of children identifying as trans as the ideology is more intensely promoted by popular media.

Earlier this year Miriam Cates, a UK Member of Parliament and former biology teacher, has told her fellow MPs that the country’s sex education curriculum is encouraging pupils to self-identify as transgender, the Daily Mail UK reported.

Despite the closure of the clinic, debate in Ireland regarding the promotion of transgender ideology to children is still taboo.
