Current Taoiseach and Tanaiste appointees Micheal Martin and Leo Varadkar remain conspicuously silent about opening their homes to Ukrainian refugees, despite the Government asking other people to do it.
The Government is insisting that ordinary Irish people open their homes and cram as many refugees as humanly possible in every spare room, holiday home, shed, caravan, or any other available space.
Yet, there has been no confirmation about whether or not Mr. Martin or Mr. Varadkar will lead by example and take in a couple of families themselves.
Ireland’s President also remains silent on the issue.
