Vladimir Putin has purged a number ot top military personnel, in a swift move to find scapegoats for his army’s disastrous failure in Ukraine.
According to reports, the failed Russian President has sacked General Valery Gerasimov, who was conspicuously missing on ‘Victory Day.’ There are also reports that the commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Igor Osipov, has been arrested.
Together with the elimination of several field commanders in Ukraine, the top military echelon of the Russian army has been severely depleted.
