The Ukrainian ambassador to Ireland has warned her people that Ireland can no longer guarantee accommodation.
Larysa Gerasko recorded a message that was posted on social media and distributed across embassies advising of the dire housing situation in Ireland.
According to the Irish Government, one of the main factors causing the housing shortage is that refugees are staying here ‘longer than expected.’
Perhaps the bumbling Irish Government somehow believed that tens of thousands of people would promptly abandon free accommodation and return to a country ravaged by war, with a compromised energy supply, hundreds of missiles landing on apartment blocks in the middle of the night, bombed-out homes, no schools or jobs, and a marauding enemy bent on wiping Ukraine from the face of the Earth.
