Ukrainian troops post videos refusing to carry on “suicidal” fight as Russian forces continue to make gains

As Russian forces make steady gains in the East of Ukraine more Ukrainian soldiers have made videos of themselves in large numbers stating they refusing to continue to fight as it would be suicidal.

On May 16th, soldiers from the Ukrainian 1st battalion of 1st company of 115th Brigade posted a video stating that they weren’t able to carry out the orders of their leaders due to poor resources, lack of fire support and lack of weapons.

This was followed by soldiers of 3rd Battalion of the 115th Brigade made a new statement and refused again to fight because of lack of protection and adequate equipment.

Since then, Russian troops have continued to advance following the capture of Azovstal which saw hundreds of Neo-Nazis and foreign mercenaries captured.

This surrender was laughably portrayed as an “evacuation” by propogandists posing a reporter in the West.

As more areas fall to Russian control the demoralization of the Ukrainian forces is likely to ramp up with some fearing a coup against President Zelensky whose bombastic rhetoric is seemingly detached from reality.
