Ulster Bank freezes tens of thousands of accounts as the institution prepares to leave the Irish market




Ulster Bank has frozen tens of thousands of accounts as the institution prepares to leave the Irish market.

It is understood that no fewer than 126,000 accounts have been frozen.

The bank will close all its branches in the Republic for good on April 21.
