Smartphone companies are always looking at ways to improve their phones in order to be one of the leading competitors when it comes to sales throughout the year, but as companies come up with new and innovative ideas on a regular basis the bare basics including the all important battery life sometimes gets left behind.

However as batteries are getting bigger and better as time goes on, it seems that there is never one quite good enough to keep everyone happy.

Well now that is about to change as one of the world’s biggest battery companies Energizer have released a smartphone with a massive 18,000mAh.

In a move to push the battery giant on, the well established company has made a phone that will apparently last an entire week.

But before you get too excited, the rather impressive battery life does come at a cost given that the phone is about the size of three iPhone’s stacked on top of one another.

Unveiling their rather bulky phone at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona, energiser say the phone will have the average life of seven days before it needs a recharge.

The rather unusual but unique phone is no marketing gimmick either as it comes fully loaded with a rather impressive spec that is more than a match for the regular players including Apple, Samsung and Huawei.

Enegizer say their new Power Max P18K pop will run Android 9.0 Pie and will have a MediaTek Helio P70 Soc core processor along with a hefty 6GB of ram.

The bulky device will also house a standard 128GB of storage, whilst it will have a three-camera setup in a 12, 5, and 2-megapixel configuration, with the LED flash placed underneath.

Although no official pricing has been announced for the phone, Enegizer say the phone will be released later this year.
