The Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy will could come under increased pressure this week as Sinn Féin look set to submit a motion of no confidence.
Mr Murphy who has been heavily criticised for his handling of the current housing and homeless crisis could see his position being called into question later today as Sinn Féin look set to lodge the motion later today.
Sinn Féin say they will submit the motion before the upcoming Dáil term as they believe Mr Murphy has done little to alleviate the situation.
However the Housing Minister could be given a reprieve as the main opposition party within the Dáil Fianna Fáil say they have no intention of supporting the motion.
