According to a latest report published by the Central Statistics Office the number of people signing on the Live Register in September has to to its lowest level since the end of the boom.
The recently published report shows the total number of people singing on last month fell by 7,700, to under 291,000.
The figure marks of a reduction of 2.6%, it is also the first time in over eight years that the Live Register has fallen below 300,000.
