New figures just released by the Central Statistics Office reveal that the Live Register is now at its lowest since September 2008.
Current, seasonally adjusted figures show a monthly decrease of 2,400 last month, to a total of 246,900. This figure represents a 14.7% on the same month last year.
Official figures reveal that unemployment rate now stands at 6%, its lowest level since June 2008.
