Uniformed PSNI officers have announced they’ll march in Dublin’s Pride Parade this weekend

For the first time ever, uniformed PSNI officers will travel down from Northern Ireland to march in the Dublin Pride Parade this weekend.

It also happens to be the first time that uniformed members of An Gardai will participate in the gay pride parade on June 29th. It’s understood that the relatively newly appointed Garda Commissioner Drew Harris invited PSNI Officers to come down to Dublin to take part in the gay parade.

In 2017, members of An Gardai dressed in full uniform took part in the Pride Parade in Belfast.
