The United States continues to lead the world in providing military assistance to Ukraine, with a new aid package worth $250m.
The latest round of lethal aid includes the following items:
AIM-9M Sidewinder air-to-air missiles
HIMARS munitions
155mm and 105mm artillery shells
mine-clearing equipment
Javelin and other anti-armor systems and rockets
Over 3m rounds of small arms ammo
medevac vehicles
demolition charges
spare parts
training and other assorted services
Such a comprehensive package contrasts starkly with countries like Ireland, which hasn’t been able to muster even a sorry handful of bullets to eliminate the invader.
