Ùnsettled weather forecast for the coming week as cold spell comes to an end




The past week saw lows of -6C in some areas, with widespread frost and snow across the country.

The cold spell is set to come to an end however, as temperatures are set to rise to beyond 10-12C over the coming days.

Today, Sunday, is expected to be rather wet and windy at times, with temperatures hovering at around 9C towards the afternoon.

The outlook is for a week of unsettled but relatively mild weather for the time of year.
