Met Eireann has warned that unsettled weather conditions will last for another 48h at least, with frequent, heavy showers predicted across most of Ireland.
There will be scattered outbreaks of light rain throughout today, Wednesday, with more intense rainfall developing later in the day.
Thursday evening/night will be particularly wet, according to the national forecaster.
Temperature wise, there will be highs of 22C at times, best in the south.
