Up to two hundred Boots stores may close over the next two years, putting thousands of jobs at risk.
Boots is the latest high street retailer to announce a sharp decline in sales and impending closures, following other high-profile names like Maplin, Topshop, and Debenhams among others.
It is currently unclear whether or not any Boots stores in Ireland would be affected.
