Up to 22 Debenhams stores are set to close early in 2020, amidst a deepening crisis for the embattled retailer.
Debenhams is banking on a rescue plan put forward by its new owners, but fifty stores altogether may have to go, putting thousands of jobs at risk.
All stores will remain open until after Christmas 2019 at least.
It is not known if any Irish outlets will be affected.
