Uproar as West of the country gets forgotten about with NO Ministers yet Wicklow gets TWO

Micheal Martin is already facing the first crisis of his new Government as critics lash out at the fact that the west of the country was ignored when it came to handing out Minister positions.

There isn’t a Minister to be seen from Donegal to Limerick while Wicklow can boast two voices at the Cabinet table – Stephen Donnelly who gets Health, and Simon Harris who’s the Minister for Higher Education, Innovation and Science.

The snub has caused fury all along with west coast, especially in Mayo where voters were shocked to see former Fianna Fail Deputy Leader Dara Calleary denied a seat.

Many people are now wondering whether Martin will be welcomed if he decides to cross the Shannon and face the anger of Fianna Fail voters who feel as if they have been thrown overboard so that plum Ministerial roles can be handed over to TDs in Fine Gael and the Green Party.
