Fasten your seatbelts, it’s about to get bumpy.
Aer Lingus staff have seen their wages take a serious nosedive by a massive 70%, reportedly due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Some staff may need to be let go as a result of the outbreak while others are on just 30% of their wages pre-coronavirus.
A number of petitions have been launched to try and get Aer Lingus to reverse the decision, however that’s quite unlikely as The Liberal has been informed by a member of staff that all strike action has been postponed until at least February 2022.
