Dozens of staff at a peat briquette factory in Littleton, Tipperary, will lose their jobs after Bord na Móna announced the closure of a local facility.
The factory will close around April next year, with the loss of 70 jobs.
The company said that the decision to close the factory was taken due to a sharp decline in briquette sales.
