Following the release of former FBI Director Robert Muller’s report summarising his investigation into the debunked Trump-Russia conspiracy theory US Attorney General William Barr has assembled a team to investigate the origins of the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign.

In the conclusion of the two-year investigation that cost tens of millions of taxpayer dollars, issued 500 warrants and interviewed over 500 witnesses, there was no evidence for the baseless accusations of collusion between Trump and Russia.

Now the new AG will investigate the origins of the bureaus Questionable counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign.

The investigation began in July 2016 and was launched by disgraced, openly anti-Trump, pro-Clinton ex-agent Peter Strzok along with his illicit lover Ex-FBI counsel Lisa Page.

Former FBI Director James Comey would testify later that he ordered the investigation despite not having any evidence to suggest there was collusion even at the time of his firing in April 2017.

It has since emerged that the fake Steele dossier that was compiled by ex-Brit intel officer Christopher Steele who was a paid to concoct bogus report by the Clinton campaign was used by the Obama adminstration to order spying on the Trump campaign.

The report was passed to the FBI by the late Senator John McCain who represented the elite establishment of the GOP who like their close counterparts in the DNC feared a Trump Presidency.

The US Justice Department’s Inspector General (IG) was looking separately into whether Comey mishandled classified information Fox News has learned.

Cue President Trump who has called those peddling the debunked conspiracy theory in politics and the media traitors who attempted a coup and has called for justice.
