The US Supreme Court has greenlighted the release of the $2.5bn asked by President Trump to build the infamous wall on the US-Mexico border.
The project had been caught in legal limbo for months, after all lower courts turned down the appeals. But the decision to go ahead won by five votes to four on the Supreme Court, which means funds will now be made available.
The move has been met with widespread condemnation from the Democrat realm. According to Sky News for instance, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer remarked that the Supreme Court’s decision is “deeply regrettable and nonsensical.”
