The US President Joe Biden will seemingly reach his goal of vaccinating 100 million people within his first 100 days later today.
In news that will give Americans cause for optimism, White House officials have revealed that approximately 2.5m Covid-19 vaccine doses have been handed out each day.
Although Biden has praised the current vaccination programme, he warned that Americans must still continue to follow public health guidelines in order to surpress the virus.
President Biden also said that every American adult could have a Covid-19 vaccine shot by the end of May.
He added that the country could have a relatively normal 4th of July as it is within country’s grasp with the vaccination programme running way ahead of schedule.
