According to the most recent data from the Irish Midwives and Nurses Organisation (INMO), there are 531 people in hospitals nationwide who are waiting for a bed, reports Breaking News.
On Thursday morning, there were about 385 people waiting in emergency rooms and 146 waiting in other hospital wards.
With 89 patients occupying trolleys, University Hospital Limerick had the most patients without beds, reports Breaking News.
There were thirty-three persons in the emergency room and fifty-six in other hospital wards.
There were 55 individuals in the emergency room and 67 patients waiting for a bed at Cork University Hospital.
There were 39 bedless patients in the emergency room at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, reports Breaking News.
