It’s actually getting hard to even comprehend at this stage.
How can a first world country as small as Ireland have such a badly run health service, it truly does beggar belief. Some serious questions need to be asked of 31-yr-old Minister for Health Simon Harris now.
A HSE analysis of departments has revealed that there are 997,258 patient appointments outstanding in the first half of 2018 only.
This latest figure would be almost laughable if it wasn’t so tragic and so serious. Try and grasp the fact that almost ONE MILLION people are waiting on health service attention in Ireland.
Just astonishing, in a very very bad way.
